TREASURE'S PRAISE REPORT

Train Station Kids in Vladimir, Russia

During our 2003 Mission Trip, we took the team to visit our "Train Station Kids" in Vladimir, Russia.  The three kids were found in winter, 2 years ago, living near the underground steam pipes at the train station.  The Vine Church provided them with a home in a one bedroom apartment with 2 young "moms", Natasha and Luda (pictured below with one of the kids, Katya, in the middle).  Treasures has helped with clothes, beds, bedding, and gifts.

As we left the apartment, one of the team members commented she did not see a refrigerator.  In fact, they had none.  Two team members pooled funds and purchased a new refrigerator.

We wanted to send a double portion, so we asked our shopping guru, Vitaly, to fill it with food.  Not only did he spend his own time to shop, purchase, deliver, and set up the frig, he shopped for food!  His double portion?  He cooked for them!  Their first taste of steak. What a guy, he continually touches our hearts with his selflessness to the children of Russia.

Vitaly said they are in need of kitchen utensils, knives, forks, dishes, and glasses. The pan is as old as Vitaly.
We have a new project!

A need found, a need met!
