We shared with you the journey of the medical equipment from Amsterdam to Vladimir.  We trusted God to use the medical equipment to save Russian children,  BUT, our primary hope was it would be used to save souls. 

Our contact at the hospital, Nadia, has recently been abandoned by her husband.  This is a tremendous disappointment for us, because he has been a friend of TOTH from the beginning.  God has laid her on our hearts.  We asked Alyona, Vitaly's wife, to be our hands and feet to provide Christian love and compassion.  This morning we received this email from Alyona.

Dear Stephanie, Donna & Howard,

I’d like you to know that money you graciously gave for Nadia was spent on tennis shoes for her son. He grew up from the old clothes he had and now Nadia very happy that her son has new shoes. But that’s not the end of the story. God is so wonderful and through you help He planed to save Nadia and enter her heart. When Katya invited me on women’s conference to her church I thought it’s a good opportunity for Nadia to get to know God and learn His wisdom and love. So, I took her with me and we spend around six hours in church. It was interesting and touching. I opened for Nadia all the Scriptures that they use from the Bible just to get her experience of learning the Bible and get interested in it. I prayed with her and was trying to comfort her. On the end of the conference, during worship we had special time. I took her to a lady preacher and Nadia prayed the sinners prayer. Then we prayed for her and her needs. Halleluiah.

P.S. When I told her about her new birth I also said that church can be her new family. Hopefully she’ll start coming to church.
